Our History
Our resources and methods have touched thousands of lives for almost 30 years evolving from workshops, to books translated into 12 languages, in-person training for our global coaching community to online programs accessible to anyone. Increasingly important in today's world, we continue to evolve and grow to share lasting healing, and meaningful personal and collective growth.
1996
The Radical Forgiveness Movement is founded by Colin and JoAnn Tipping.
1997
Publication of ‘Radical Forgiveness: Making Room for the Miracle’ by Colin Tipping.
2016
Godfrey O'Flaherty and Colin Tipping meet for the first time at a Radical Forgiveness retreat in Switzerland.
2019
Colin entrusted Godfrey as CEO, Global Custodian, and owner of the Radical Forgiveness Movement, establishing it as the IIRFL.
Present
The IIRFL and Radical Forgiveness Movement continues to grow and flourish around the world.

The Future of IIRFL
Our mission is to raise global consciousness, empower individuals and communities, and develop coaches capable of teaching and sharing these life-changing skills. Together, we strive to make a significant difference in the world, individually and collectively.
Training and Development under the direction of Godfrey O’Flaherty will see the establishment of a Centre for Research to focus on coaching research on the impact of forgiveness and healing for the body, mind, and soul. The Institute is refreshing our current Radical Forgiveness Coaching and developing future programs, which include:
- Revamping the existing Radical Forgiveness Master Coaching program.
- Developing an MSc program in transpersonal psychology, based on the Radical Forgiveness body of knowledge.
- Creating a Master of Art (MA) in Radical Forgiveness Coaching, which will be a step up from our Master Coaching Program.
- Developing Doctoral programs in these fields in the future.
Leadership development is a core focus of the Institute’s future. With the IIRFL, Godfrey O’Flaherty leverages his passion and experience to create programs that empower leaders in communities, organisations, and all walks of life.
These programs are designed to help leaders rise above their egos and overcome the shadows that hinder their purpose. By doing so, the IIRFL aims to foster reconciliation and promote healing through Radical Forgiveness programs, ultimately contributing to the creation of compassionate and effective leaders.
A message from our CEO
I am Godfrey O’Flaherty, and it is an immense honour to serve as the Global Custodian and CEO of the International Institute for Radical Forgiveness and Leadership (IIRFL). In 2019, Colin Tipping, with deep trust and heartfelt conviction, passed on to me the custodianship and ownership of Radical Forgiveness. This incredible moment, marked by a touching ceremony curated by JoAnn Tipping, entrusted me with all the Radical Forgiveness intellectual property and the vision of the business as a Global Enterprise.
My journey has been rooted in organisational strategy, coaching, and leadership. But more than that, I am profoundly passionate about guiding individuals and communities toward deep emotional healing and transformative growth. Leading a talented and dedicated Radical Forgiveness team fills me with gratitude and purpose. Together, we are devoted to advancing this life-changing work.
Our mission is to breathe new life into the journey of healing and growth, to refresh and rekindle the spirit of our community, and to expand our reach. I am deeply committed to nurturing and growing the Radical Forgiveness community, and helping individuals worldwide to embrace and benefit from the powerful methodologies that Colin Tipping so lovingly developed.
